Born Again

Praise God, we baptized three in Jesus Name on Sunday Oct 14th. Congratulations to Billy Brown, Daniel Wiles, and Jenelle Meyer for making a commitment for Jesus Christ and may your new life in him, be filled with the grace of God.

August 2007 Update

Our "small" group ministry has grown so much lately that last night we had 35 people at our house for our continuing study of Galatians.

It was awesome to feel the presence of God as we worshiped , prayed, sang, and heard the Word of God taught.

We are adding another home group at the end of August and expecting the Fellowship to continue growing.

Bringing in the New Year

We had great time at our New Years Day fellowship! Someone once said whatever you are doing New Years Day, you'll be doing all year long. If that's true we will be having a great year of true friendship and service the Lord! Join us!

Oops! I Forgot My Wife.

The men of the AHF have started a small group Bible study using the book by Dale Roth called Oops! I Forgot My Wife. Our first meeting was last night (Sunday 10/8/06) and we meet every other Sunday night at 6:00 PM.

We are being encouraged to be better husbands, fathers, leaders and Christian men. The small group provides the right setting for men to challenge each other to rise up and be the man God wants them to be.

Shall we gather at the river...

We baptized two people in the saving name of Jesus Christ last Sunday. Edd Bickers Jr. and C.J. Holland. We had a great time singing some gospel songs and praying before putting them down "in Jesus Name." Praise God!

The Bible says, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Act 4:12)

Victory Report

We had an awesome time in the Holy Ghost Sunday evening! Jessie Cavness from Ashland TN preached a message about the faith of Jabez.

We were presented the Gospel in a straightforward and powerful way. The Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the Word and we had two people receive God's gift with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

It still happens, and this old fashioned Apostolic message still saves, praise God!

Congratulations, Kay and C.J., may you live your life for Jesus always!
